Expectations

My kids do not want to talk to me.

If they were to say something, most probably I will say " why choose the easy way out?"

I am talking based on my experience, half a century old. And I have been working for 26 years.

It all boils down to your "worth". You are more valuable if you have skills that not many have. Maybe you call it specialisation, but I call it value. Acquire the skills that not many have. The harder the better.

No, I will not elaborate more as my kids know what I am going to say. Many times they said that I have said so many times that they can recite what my sentences will be. My wife said the same thing. At least I am consistent.
